    • +You Know With two and a half years of a bullshit investigation that has produced NOTHING, NADA, NO PROOF.
Of course if you so much as brought up the subject of Hussein Soaetoro being a Kenya Islamic terrorist agent for Iran. You were a racist.
What a fucking MORON You Know you are.

  1. The rich insurance companies would lose billions if this happened. That’s why they claim it’s bad when in reality it would save us a lot of money

    • +What…the…funk!
It’s great sign of intelligence when billionaires like Bloomberg and Schultz state if “healthcare for all is free” we cannot afford it .First of all it’s not free any more than the military complex is “FREE”
Second medical facilities are run by oligopolies there is no price competition and never will be
One personal example emergency room visits cost ! – I have sciatica and had to go to an emergency room on A WEEKEND! THE BILL FOR TWO HOUR VISIT( 90 minute wait time) TO GET A $20.00 PRESCRIPTION WAS OVER $800.00
If it had not been a weekend my doctor bill would have been $10.00
It’time for a revolution and Kamela Harris , Bernie Sanders and hopefully Elizabeth Warren will all sign a pledge to end the oligopolies in the health industry
Raising taxes on people e.g.who own 40 million dollar condos will cause them to scream”socialism “(EXCePT expenditures for the defense budget and unpaid wars in the middle east.
It’s revolution time e.g.the large corporate tax cuts show how dangerous the right wing has become

    • +Arshan Mostafavi The countries you just listed are where the most medical tourism comes from. “Free” should not be confused with “good” or “quality”.

    • +Mijemu mijemu I think you will find a lot more people “dying in the gutter” in countries other than the United States. We now have the lowest unemployment in our country’s history. The only people in this country who are “dying in the gutter”, are lazy mentally fucked up drug addicts who dont want to work in the first place. How could you come up with a statement as obviously stupid as that?

    • +Mark Green hey dummy, Canada population is less than 200 million people, vs the USA which is 320 million people including illegal foreigners, so your comparing apples and oranges. XD idiot

    • +David Smith Source for your claim or GTFO. I want to see actual Government affiliated data and statistics that are cross-referenced, not some biased news outlet. If you make a statement along the lines of: “look it up on the internet.” You’re automatically discredited with no evidence. You make a claim, you provide evidence. Its as simple as that.

      Your claims:
      1) “Everywhere socialist medicine is tried suffers doctor strikes.”
      2) “No, the biggest recipient of taxpayer money is actually entitlements, like Medicare.”
      3) “And if NHS had anything on Americas quality, medical tourism from the UK to the US wouldn’t be so high.”

    • +Austin Giguere And you realize illegal immigrants contribute in taxes to our welfare right? And they don’t even have access to most of the benefits that they’re actually paying for because of the requirement process.

    • +John Mohag The Congressional Budget office? Corporations receive less than 10% of what we spend on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and welfare. And that’s even if you mistakenly claim tax cuts to corporations, which actually don’t cost the taxpayer anything. Now where’s YOUR source?

    • +David Smith What the hell? You do know what GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES are right? Bailouts, loans, grants, tax incentives, etc. We spend around $500-700 Billion dollars on Medicare. Federal Government spends $1-2 TRILLION DOLLARS primarily for R&D tax credit (THIS ISN’T EVEN INCLUDING R&D Grants AND STATE GOVERNMENT FUNDING, LMAO). Now, IMAGINE OTHER TAX CREDITS AND INCENTIVES? Am I saying to dismantle R&D? No, I’m just calling you out on your B.S. that
Medicare takes more from our taxes as a recipient by claiming it is more than CORPORATE SUBSIDIES.

Its sad you won’t even put in the effort when you can easily find it: “NHE FACT SHEET” and “OECD RD TAX INCENTIVES UNITED STATES”. Go put in the work if you want your sources. Again, I never made false claims, YOU did. The onus is on YOU to provide the evidence.

So where are YOUR sources? Oh that is right… you don’t have any because you made false claims and assumptions and then realized you can’t even back it up. And all you can say is “Congressional Budget office?” LMAO. When you said that, I knew how ignorant you were because you don’t even know the breakdown of our spending. On top of that, it shows you don’t know how our government system works. This is why you’ve been discredited the moment you responded to me with no sources. I am pretty sure I won’t hear from you again. Bring facts next time when you come into a debate. GTFO.

    • Hum, Greece bankrupt, Germany went to private insurance. Canada mandates every person must pay a monthly premium for each person in household and 2-5 year wait list. Canadians come to the US for health care for chronic conditions. If you pay privately Canadian health care is good, Britain’s health care is horrible and takes the choice of who can get life saving treatment depending on cost not need. So many people die in Britain, .
Do your research before saying single payer health care is great in other countries.

    • +C G There is a great deal of variation in the total waiting time faced by patients across the provinces. Saskatchewan reports the shortest total wait (15.4 weeks), while New Brunswick reports the longest (45.1 weeks). There is also a great deal of variation among specialties. Patients wait longest between a GP referral and orthopaedic surgery (39.0 weeks), while those waiting for medical oncology begin treatment in 3.8 weeks. Patients also experience significant waiting times for various diagnostic technologies across the provinces. This year, Canadians could expect to wait 4.3 weeks for a computed tomography (CT) scan, 10.6 weeks for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, and 3.9 weeks for an ultrasound.
Research has repeatedly indicated that wait times for medically necessary treatment are not benign inconveniences. Wait times can, and do, have serious consequences such as increased pain, suffering, and mental anguish. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2018

    • L K Hey man, if you get this reply. Which is source is that from? I was wondering so that I could use that against the free healthcare sped kids.

  2. Universal health care will slash national health costs by up to 50%. The US cant afford to continue with the current system. The US is 50 years behind the rest of the world on this issue.

    • +bryan b The biggest criticism of free market roads is the one you brought up. Normally, the owners of private roads are large organizations and businesses that benefit from the incoming traffic. So, it doesn’t financially make sense to charge insane amounts to pass through a road when increased traffic brings in increased business. There is no incentive to hike prices up and lose potential business. As we invent cheaper and more innovative ways to travel, which are fueled by the exact problems you mentioned, we overcome many of these issues. The only thing halting innovation currently is govt regulations and monopolization of roads.

    • Jeff Smith If the U.S. is 50 years behind the rest of the world in medical health costs, then why is the “rest of the world” trying to have complex medical procedures done in the U.S., rather than anywhere else? Guess you actually missed the facts on that one. Thats OK. Its just CNN, and no one takes anything said here seriously anyway.

    • +bryan b We have a private highway in Ontario Canada …much better than the public roads …you do have pay a toll…,they pay the government to police it and are regulated by the government

  3. What is this bozo talking about?
Healthcare is not supposed to be about giving money to insurance companies. The purpose of healthcare is to help people get well not the profits for companies.

    • I worked for Blue Cross of California. The managers and brokers there seemed to feel that they were entitled to customers’ money without providing any service to them. They looked for ways to deny insurance claims any way they could. So did Kaiser, with its “insurance review” department. Insurance companies call having to pay out a claim as a “loss”. They make money by denying coverage, not providing it. The managers and brokers got bonuses based on profits, not coverage. This is what the GOP wants us to return to….

    • +Aussiebrit typical hippie response, you do know Russia, and our enemies would love if the greatest country in the world, freest I might add, if we cut our defense budget, stop acting like freedom is free, is not you moron. You don’t think our enemies won’t notice if we cut our defense budget? You fucking hippie? Stfu you don’t understand how much our military and defense matters to this country.

  4. CNN is at it again. They promoted Trump by covering everything he said in the beginning of his campain(when they shouldn’t have), now they’re helping Trump again by promoting Shultz.

    • CNN and all of American media wanted trump as president, and still fo, for the “coverage” and ad dollars generated. He’s never going to jail, because the fix was in from the beginning. Maybe we should all just turn them off?

    • The radical and insane comments from these politicians are helping trump. Plain and simple if you act like trump then you help his cause. Democrats need to stop behaving this way if they want trump out

  5. The HMOs and insurance companies have too many lobbyists and too much money, for any change to happen.
    Schultz is their spokesman

    • +Tessmage Tessera I bet you thought your post was intelligent. Poor soul. You’ve been in digital porn land for far too long. Now go back to Obama’s first midterm and compare how many house seats he lost to those lost by Trump and see if you can tell me who came out ahead. You are a joke. Even the fake news propaganda machine admitted your “blue wave” was a complete dud. You see, that’s why the Dems will never win another Presidential election. They gave into the radicals. Now the party does not deal in reality. They have no identity. They are screwed. Just like you.

    • +Tessmage Tessera

Keep winning means consecutive wins. You lost last time, this time around dems had to beg, commit voter fraud, voter harvesting, protest, whine and cry, break down, get offended by anything to get liberals to vote. You took the house (which flips on the norm), conservatives weren’t surprised, and they didn’t break down like when limp wristed libs lose. All this is going to do is drum up more conservatives to come out and vote next time around.

I’ll just sit back and enjoy the laughs watching the infighting within the dems… old vs new.

Take care, we have two different views that’s all.

    • +Jose Martinez Nope, no voter fraud. Anyone who believes that is an imbecile. What the liberals did was take nearly 400 seats nationwide, 11 state legislatures and yes, the House. Nobody needed to whine or beg… the fact is, most Americans hate Donald Trump and the Republican party. So they voted for the exact opposite: far-left candidates. Honestly, it isn’t going to help your side to keep pretending that the blue wave doesn’t exist. If you hope to win anything at all in 2020, then you had better wise up and realize that the entire nation is fed up with greedy billionaires and mindless bigots.

  6. This guy is a bozo. Medicare for all works well in Canada. I am a right wing Canadian and I could not live in a country that does not look after all citizens re medical care. In the states the medical profession is so overpaid. I am a Dr. Daughter in law a Internal medicine specialist. Another daughter in law a psychologist as well as a son who also has a PHD in psychology and is a psychiatrist. I do not understand the stance of the Republicans We Canadians do not have your $$$’s but we look after all of our people’s wether back brown or white.
