Preventing Medicare Fraud what libraries can do to help

The Missoula Aging Services works statewide to promote services that prevent and mitigate Medicare fraud. Join Renee Labrie-Shanks of the Montana Seniors Medicare Patrol Program to learn about resources available to libraries and where to find more help for your patrons.

Renee is the manager of the statewide SMP program and has worked in the aging field since 2000. Renee’s primary role is to educate consumers about healthcare fraud, waste and abuse prevention. She is a committee member and annual presenter at the Montana Consumer Fraud Summits and is on the Montana State Health Insurance Assistance Program Advisory Council, the State Information & Assistance Planning Committee, as well as a member and past board member of the Montana Gerontology Society.
