When I was in High School I met someone who had a health condition with his tooth enamel which caused all his teeth to rot at once. I was surprised when I saw him about 5 years later still with a mouth full of yellow rotten teeth. Conditions like that would effect every aspect of a young mans life. Its unfortunate to live in a country were its dental system driven off making a buck instead of caring for people.
I’m glad Winnie brought up the economic impact. It’s important to distinguish between what is good for the economy, what is good for big business, and what is good for small business. #MedicareForAll saves money and makes business easier across the board. So why would big business be against it?
Because big business is not interested in what is good for the economy, they are interested in dominance and leverage. Insurance presents a stumbling block for small business, you might be able to provide better service or have a better product, employees may prefer working for you, but if insurance is more expensive and harder to implement then big business has an advantage. Things like #MedicareForAll creates a level playing field for small business, encourages competition, better products and services, as well as economic growth and opportunity.
And that is why big business may oppose #MedicareForAll, despite it being a savings for them, and good for the economy overall.
Just going to point out, please get wireless mics TYT. Even a wireless lav clipped to their mic stand would be better than on camera audio. Also, wouldn’t get assaulted by the extreme volume differences when the audience applauds.
