We have the most expensive healthcare system in the developed world by far, and if you go into any ER here you wait hours and hours and hours. Nurses are in demand all over the country and fewer people are getting into the feild or staying in. Mostly because they get burnt out from working multiple 12 hour shifts, dealing with assholes all day, and seeing many people die.

JK, since the US does not use a parliamentary system, a third or fourth party does not work. You have to eliminate the “winner take all” way of our various voting systems to get a viable multiparty national system. Problem is, it’s the people in charge that would have to change the system, and they like the way the current system works for them and their interests.
