  1. We only have ONE MA in our county. I was on Medicare and Medicaid and just
switched to MA because I thought I had to, to get glasses and dental. I
just switched. What now? I lost most diabetic strips and a med that I’ve
relied upon for 14 years. I’m frightened and have a right to be. I didn’t
realize I needed them until taken off, cold turkey. Another med caused
breathing difficulty and I was allergic, but I can get that one.

  2. HI Chris. my friend Pepita Estercita gave me your phone number I will call
you. tomorrow my name is Norma and I live in Long Island < NY

  3. I am active in a national organization for patients with a specific
disease. The only treatment for this condition is a drug made from human
blood plasma. Treatment cost at least $6000 a month or more. It is a part B
expense because it requires a medical to administer it. This year many
advantage plans introduced a 20% copay for this drug. That is $1200 a month
or $14,000 a year for this single drug. In addition these patients have
many other illnesses that go along with illness. Total medical expenses are
in the range of $100,000 a year. Because of this expensive none of these
patients can switch to traditional Medicare because of health questions.
People are frantic and sadly there is no alternative.

    • +Mark Leventhal I hear this ALL THE TIME from seniors who “signed up” (many
with zero premium) for a “Medicare Advantage” plan to THEN discover what it
did not covered. One very common example is the need for chemotherapy to
fight cancer. Most all “Advantage” plans let the patient pay 20% of the
entire cost. That is no better than being on original Medicare. The 20%
cost is a very big surprise to those folks who thought they had a
“Supplement” when all they really had was a free plan that covered no more
than original Medicare would on cases like this, and yours. – thanks for
      writing.

  4. It breaks my heart when a senior is past his/her open enrollment and cannot
qualify for a Med Supp. Now they are stuck with the MAPD for life. Tied
to a network that may not be suited for them. I am a medicare supplement
person all the way. I have been licensed since 1992, I love working with
my Seniors and educating them on the rights they are given with Medicare.
Do them right and earn a friend who will refer you all day long.

  5. THANK YOU CHRIS. YOU HAVE GIVEN WHAT I NEED TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION. I
WAS PLANNING TO GO WITH MEDICARE ADVANTAGE UNTIL I SAW YOUR VIDEO…THANK
    GOD. THANKS TO YOU AGAIN.

  6. When you make the mistake of signing up with an advantage plan, after the
year is up can you go back to the original plan? I was told by an agent
    no.

  7. Hello,
I prefer to not receive phone calls therefore, I would like to discuss some
specific questions regarding Plan F vs. Plan G with you Please send your
    email address.
    Thank you,
    Kathy H

  8. Hi Christopher, I had two different advantages plans for the last 2 years,
because of my health, however , I still have to pay money to the
doctors,… This year I went back to original medicare plus supplemental
just yesterday. Today I saw your video and confirm that I did the right
decision…..I am going to advise one of my friend who still is in medicare
advantage to take the original medicare plus supplemental….Thank you for
let us know this information about medicare….God Bless you!

    • +Pepita Estercita So glad! You made a great decision for your future! If
you know anyone else that needs Medicare help, please pass along our info
      of 1-800-729-9590! – Chris

  9. All great points, thanks Chris. They may even have their Advantage plan for
a couple of years then suddenly have to change doctors when their plan
changes or is cancelled. Not only a limited network, but also a ever
changing network of hospitals and doctors. In my experience seniors do not
like to switch their their networks and choice of doctors.

  10. YOUR RIGHT. PEOPLE THAT HAVE MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS,.
I HAVE A DISLOCATED DISK LUMBAR FOR GOING ON 6 MONTHS EACH DOCTOR I WOULD
SEE WOULD REFERRED ME TO SOMEON ELSE, I WAS DENIED HAVING SURGERY BY
CAREMORE ,. IM APPEALING THEM. I HAVE ALREADY CHANGED MY INSURANCE TO
MEDICARE ,. IM WORKING TO GETTING MY MEDI-CAL BACK. I HAVE BEEN IN PAIN
ALL THIS TIME, THE DR, SUGGESTED THERAPY AND PAIN SHOTS WHICH HAS TO BE
REFERRED AND WAIT ANOTHER 4 WEEKS, AS I TOLDMEDICARE, I M TIRED OF
REFERRALS. IM GLAD I SWICHED TO RED AND BLUE MEDICARE.

    • +Mary Rodriguez You have it backwards a little. It is the “Advantage” plan
that you’re describing, with the limited networks and required referrals.
Medicare Supplements require neither a network nor referrals. Supplements
are the way to go. You can find out more about which ones are available by
      calling my office at 1-800-729-9590

  11. Chris, I, have been looking around for a Supplement Plan and Is it just me
not understanding or ARE only Certain Companies selling in Certain States
and at that determined by Zip Code ? Tks John

    • +John Morgan Yes, that is how Medicare Supplements work. They are different
in every zip code and age. Many companies do not sell in every state. The
snapshot of WHICH company is good in WHICH state is why I maintain
appointments with nearly every company in the USA. Would be happy to tell
you who is good in your area, based on ZIP code and age. You can write me
at [email protected] with that information.

      Would be happy to help.

  12. I have Medicare Advantage and was told it would be free because I was
Veteran ! Now I see no mention of having to be a Veteran being associated
with Medicare Advantage. I was also told I had to either go to the VA for
medications or buy the medications myself. Seemed fair enough. So, is
there such a special FREE PLAN solely based on being a Veteran aside from
going to the VA directly ?

    • +John Morgan No, there is not a Veteran’s-only Medicare Advantage plan. You
were lied to, very simply. You might want to report that agent to
      Medicare.gov or CMS.gov.
