  1. This is just about the stupidest campaign ad I have ever seen. Mikie Sherrill is “interested” in Medicare for all??? We should all be interested in ways to improve the healthcare system in this country, including exploring single-payer coverage for all. Ms. Sherrill has NOT said that she supports Medicare for all, but one thing is clear, Jay Webber never saw a GOP tax plan he didn’t like, and the GOP is planning to make cuts in Madicare and Social Security if they win in Nov. So, I don’t believe Jay or his dad, and I urge everyone to vote for Mikie Sherrill.

  3. Jay, I really don’t like the way you are deceiving voters about Mikie Sherrill in this ad. Considering something isn’t embracing it. Also, I’ve heard Paul Ryan wants to cut Medicare, so will you oppose him? I may need to reconsider my endorsement!

  4. Because nationalized medicine has obviously destroyed every other major first world country since it’s so dangerous (read with the sarcasm intended). Please. Find an issue worth fighting for.

  5. How does fighting to “protect” your dad’s Medicare mean that it shouldn’t be available “to all”? What does that even mean? If it’s been such a great thing for your dad, what’s wrong with making it more accessible to more people?

  6. Jay, all of your ads deceive the voters about Mikie Sherrill’s positions. Don’t you have any positions of your own? Or do you just make stuff up like trump and Hugin?

  7. So, let me get this straight, Medicare is good, but Medicare for ALL is bad. Ok, got it. SMH Oh, and while I’m here Jay, how come you block anyone on social media who disagrees with or challenges you on anything? You do know it’s illegal to do that to your constituents? I mean, they did teach you about that kind of thing in law school, right?

  8. So entertaining an idea to expand Medicare to more people is a secret plot to take it away from everyone? Umm ok. I’d actually prefer if you could have an honest conversation about healthcare. This is sad political BS.

  9. Wait until insurance premiums start to cost $10,000+ a year for a *single* person, which they are projected to within the next decade. Family coverage will be well into the 20s by then. Our current private, for-profit healthcare system is literally unsustainable. The country will be demanding medicare-for-all once things start to sting real hard.

  10. Not nice to try to scare elderly people. Why do you think making healthcare available to everyone is a bad thing? Actual tax reform and reallocation of resources would make healthcare actually affordable for all citizens. Jay Webber is out of step with the district and the majority of Americans.
