California is the most populous state in the union. 1 out of 10 retirees resides there. So, think there aren't quite a bit of options for Medicare beneficiaries in terms of Supplemental policies and/or Medicare Advantage???
In this episode, our stand-alone expert, Jae Oh, CFP, discusses Medicare planning in the great state of California.

Thank you for this video. Very informative. I live in Orange County (southern CA). I just started on Medicare. I use an insurance broker that I trust. I have a HMO plan that costs me $0 a month. She said we will review my plan once a year as my medial needs may change and I am able to switch plans. Not thrilled to be on an HMO when I have always been on a PPO, but obviously I save money.
Thanks so much for the comments. These podcast edisope uploads I’m never sure if anyone watches. So this is good.
May I ask what the cost would have been for the PPO? Thanks!
My insurance broker informed me that it would cost between $150-$250 for a PPO.
