Hi Keith, I understand that you can buy a supplement plan with Original Medicare. How about with Medicare Advantage? If I choose Medicare Advange, do I need to get a Medgap plan or is this included ?
Hi Victor – You would buy a Medicare supplement plan if you stay with original Medicare. A Medicare Advantage plan takes you off of original Medicare. I generally recommend staying with original Medicare as it gives much more freedom of choice and has lower out of pocket costs. I hope that helps!
