Why are my comments cut off? Just room for me! Can not see them. How do I
fix? Doesn’t the bill say “This is Not a bill.” it is a notice of what they
will pay. oh so right about drugs. That is what they have tried to do but
too much money and institutions involved. vision/dental is extra.$
Rusty, I agree with your Medicare health care plan for all ages. I think it
could work. I’ve been in the medical field for 25 years. I can tell you
that the insurance game continues to get worse every year. I see the
frustration from both the patients side and the doctors side. Patients are
getting sicker a lot earlier in life. It is not unusual for me to see
patients in their 40’s on 4-6 meds already. Most doctors are trying to be
more proactive in preventative medicine, rather than treat symptoms with
meds. Of course, that requires cooperation, and discipline from patients to
adopt, early in life, the “Rusty healthy lifestyle plan” . Unfortunately,
many patients would rather take pills, avoid exercise and eat poorly. We
are all going to eventually get sick and require medical/hospitalization
some day. However, most of us can stay healthy well into our 70- 80’s
without any major medical issues. That would cut out so much cost for the
patient, as well as preventing fraud.
I’m with you about a pot of pinto beans and cornbread. I grew up on that
meal and it’s my mainstay still today. I didn’t learn about cilantro till a
few years ago, and have really enjoyed adding it to my beans. Same for
cumin. I grew up in North Louisiana and cilantro and cumin were not
normally used but I have really enjoyed it since I moved to Texas in the
early 1980’s. And don’t forget the pico de gallo and guacamole! :-)
I’m not sure what the racket is between medical insurance and dentist but
something weird about their lack of connection. I’ve had jaw problems for
years and medical insurance always refused to cover it saying that falls
under dental. Really? It’s a jaw. Like an arm, a leg, a foot,…… a jaw.
I almost unsubscribe when you started talking about garlic which I can’t
stand. But you got me back when you brought up cornbread. Nothing better
than beans poured over cornbread. I’m still here.
…healthy fiber and protein too. Now look, you have to have a cast iron
skillet to get that corn bread just right. If you don’t have one, I will
send you mine. Thanks for everything, Rusty!!!!
Thank you Rusty, thank you for giving so much of yourself. I have private
insurance now; I’m retired and can’t see paying twice.. You’re right about
one drug leading to another. That’s why I don’t take any. I’ve seen to
many people harmed by them. We use to have faith in hospitals and
doctors. Now very often–IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS!!!!! Shoot, you
become sicker from being in the hospital than you were before going. In my
opinion, schools aren’t much better, but I digress. Thanks for the info
though, but I’m still scared. Those beans sound mighty good. I soak mine
over night and make sure to pore off that sitting water. I put a dash of
baking soda to reduce the gas and then make it all happen. But, got to
have that cornbread made in a cast iron skillet. I’ll let you borrow mine
if you want ;~) Thanks again Rusty, I appreciate you. I appreciate you
very much.
Big add!! Medicare?! Do they pay you? Hope so.

Insurance just want money coming in…not going out.

Flatulence is very healthy as well.
Gas or not beans are a great source of healthy fiber…
You are right…everyone should be full of gas!!!

I do have a cast iron skillet. It’s a hand me down from my
grandmother…very old and seasoned…

society…sad…very sad…
