  1. jimmy, you gotta report on this seth rich ordeal. it essentially tosses away the whole russia nonsense. and before i get called names alex jones or a tinfoil hat or whatever, why dont you people look at a few sources and think about this in its entirety. its impossible to not tie seth richs’ murder to the clinton crime syndicate/DNC/nefarious DC power players…

    • Yung Progressive They do. Why do you ignore obvious scandals? They certainly covered that travel ban.

    • show me? only thing I have seen are anonymous leaks through the Washington Post. They are owned by Amazon who has a 600 million dollar contract with the CIA which is a blatant conflict of interest.

Since these leaks haven’t been sourced or backed up with information then as I said, it’s all innuendo with no proof.

    • Anybody who uses conspiracy theorist or tin foil hat as a pejorative when official stories are questioned deserves to be punched in the face. Or at least have ice cold water thrown in their face to wake them up and so they don’t brainwash others. In point of fact, according to their own documents, conspiracy theorist was made a pejorative in the 60’s by the CIA to those questioning the official story of the Kennedy assassination, which they also covered up according to their own documents. Surrounding Iran-Contra which they/the gov’t were also complicit in, an operative yelled into the camera there’s never been a conspiracy in this country. That’s who wants you to mock the concept when it involves the rich and powerful, but for the poor or average person it’s not even classified as a wild conspiracy theory, just something they do I guess, even though CEO’s are 4 times as likely to be psychopaths and the American political status quo is psychopathic. The CIA have propaganda and mind control programs according to their own docs. Congrats, they got you, and you’re influencing others to be gotten as well. That’s really something to be proud of.

  2. Medicare and Social Security are the most efficient programs the Government runs. Of course the right-wing wants to destroy them. Yet the most inefficient program, Defense, the right supports and always wants to expand.

    • +jmatthess1 That’s an old myth. The Postal Reorganization Act of 1971 did eliminate the old Post Office Department, replacing it with the US Postal Service as we know it today. The Act was intended to make the USPS self-financing from its own revenues, but it did not privatize the postal service in any way. It is still very much a government agency.

    • Of course it’s not independent of the Fed. That’s why they’re largely incompetent and lazy, and you don’t want to go in there and wait in long lines. If you can mail something from UPS or Fed Ex, it won’t take a half hour.

  3. Didn’t Hillary just start a SPAC to expand her influence in politics?  The Hillbots still control the Dem party so when did we get rid of her?  I mean I’m glad we denied her the Presidency but don’t fool yourself Hillary is still pulling the strings. take care.

  4. Oh, I’m sure Obama knew how it works. He got exactly what he wanted; guaranteed profits for the insurance industry, zero guarantees of healthCARE for people.

    • Captain Oblivious I don’t think that Obama wants to denial healthcare . Obama is a neoliberal . Obama truly believe that the free Market can’t do better than the governments . Obama is elitist and believe his elitist friend and him know what is best

    • “neoliberal” I first learn what this meant in terms of economics and then I learned what it meant in general philosophy and I was disgusted even further with the concepts.

    • Captain Oblivious ll D’you think he was ‘forced’ to give that talk to the bankers? So that MSM could report his $400,000 payment like some kind of FU to him. And a footnote to any politician who might think they could punish the banks? He can’t have needed the cash. It was like a branding kinda.

    • Sorry, the duopolistic/one-party die is cast, resistance is futile– incremental reform is a false-hope– the status quo lives on false hope. The Democratic Party is where progressive pols go to get bought. I’ve stared into the abyss; and it says get ready for more darkness- more war- more fascist security-state insanity. The lobbyist system is worse than mindless its hell-bent on destruction. There is no hope for a rabid dog in its last moments.

    • David Frum used to be a speech writer for Dubya, Jimmy. He’s a sorta “neocon” but he’s frequently on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show and his comments and stories are all over the place. He writes regularly in The Atlantic, which is definitely a liberal magazine. He was born and raised in Canada. I’d say he was more of a neolib than a neocon but it doesn’t matter. He is definitely right about single-payer healthcare.

    • Reagan in Black Face – Obama was a “Bunraku” Puppet of the Corporate State that controls everything …  regret I ever voted for him

    • very good MT GUY ha ha…
yes,  Bunraku involves  a large “puppets”  manipulated by 4 o 5 people on stage…
** a few of them usually wearing black robes and hoods **
which obscures their identities & ironically very symbolic of the abuses of power.

    • Scott Johnston – Explain to me, if you can, why so many people mistook Obama for a liberal. I didn’t understand it then, and still don’t.

  5. Hey Jimmy! No video about Seth Rich sending 44K emails to Wikileaks 12 days before he was shot in the back ?

    • Big Doc, yes but, if the GOP wants to destroy regular people’s access to health care, they should embrace Raygun even more as it was Ronnie who personally destroyed the widespread system of state mental health care.

  6. Looking down from Canada I cant even think of not having single payer health care. Enough spending a billion on bombs, Buy healthcare.

    • but but but that would mean somebody can’t make any money off of people’s need to buy something…that is just a commie plot

    • Well the term conservatives fits them then. They want to conserve their inability to accept change for the betterment of others. They want to conserve the right to let the media form ideas and thoughts for them.

    • By supporting an option to the two-party stranglehold. The two political cartels will not change their approach to governing until we begin to advocate for a change. Although we don’t have a parliamentary system, independents and alternative party congressmen/women still have an official vote.

    • Jimmy Dore was the ONLY journalist predicting the presidential election outcome, and why Trump would be better for progressives…the ONLY ONE!!! Jimmy is right also that we need DraftBernie because the Dems won’t stop their neo liberal ways. If I can’t vote for Bernie, I’ll write in Jimmy Dore !!!

    • I think he has. He really wants a 3rd party to take over, but still supports anyone who primaries Dems. He really prefers 3rd party though. I don’t blame him.

    • how dare Sam Seder do that stupid video on Jimmy did you see it.? everything Jimmy said came true and everything that a-hole said was false.

    • Muslim Lover of Peace Man — Come on, Seth is stupid, completely unfunny and boring. Also, I think his subs are off. In any case, not worth watching or mentioning.

    • Muslim Lover of Peace Man I did see that, and I was furious. I stopped watching Sedar at the same time I stopped watching TYT Main and David Pakman- after the 2016 primary when suddenly we became ‘morons’ because they became DNC shills. Stay woke!

  7. Jimmy, you need to separate yourself from TYT. Cenk is a rabid neo-con, and it’s only a matter of time before he attacks you for your content. He’s an authoritarian who doesn’t tolerate people holding other opinions – you’ll be forced to choose between toeing the line and leaving soon enough anyway, leave on your own terms.

    • I’m sure now that most of these idiots are not even progressives. They are just the same old alt-right trolls who have nothing else better to do since Trump won. Either that or they are the stupidest MFers on the planet.

    • Well, let’s start with some of the common traits: faith over facts. Cenk discards evidence that doesn’t agree with his agenda. There is absolutely no evidence of Russian interference with our election. There is absolutely no evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russian agents. The only evidence regarding Russia is that they didn’t interfere with our 2016 election, and weren’t colluding with the Trump campaign. The only credible intelligence sources to speak on the matter say that. Unless you think people that don’t have names or positions are more credible than the Obama appointees who do have names and positions and oversaw the investigations.

How about his support for wars for no reason? He kept pushing for Hillary largely on the basis that she would be a warmonger and Trump wouldn’t. Weren’t you paying attention during the campaign? And now he’s on board with trying to get us into World War III.

Cenk has said he is okay with his critics being censored. That’s a conservative position.

Cenk is as pro-corporate as they come. Look at the Justice Democrats – Ro Khanna? Really? A Clinton toady who is in bed with Wall Street, takes large amounts of corporate money through his Super-PAC, and is pro-TPP? Anyone in the Democratic Party is corrupt, it is that simple. Just like the Republicans, the Democrats are enemies of the country.

Cenk supported Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court. Merrick Garland was on Republican short lists for the court for years. Cenk is a neo-con.

TYT is nothing more than controlled opposition, and it is clear that Jordan was a second layer of controlled opposition. He’s been contradicting himself a lot lately, now that he has started lying so much.

  8. This is a brilliant rebuttal to Hillbots arguing that Berners don’t understand, incremental change is how you “get things done” (you know, because it has been working so well for us).

    • March on Progress Because preferring someone 180 degrees different on policy to run the country is smarter than someone you have some disagreements with?

    • I’m addressing an argument by some Dem voters who argue that the party’s candidates should always be moderate and/or that strong progressives are never viable. Nothing to do with Dems v. GOP in general elections.
