Medicare Mini-Course Part Six give an overview of the Medicare supplement benefits chart. Medicare supplements (also know as Medigap) are standardized plans. No matter which insurance company offers a plan, the benefits will be the same. If any ancillary benefits are offered (like a gym membership) it is not technically part of the supplemental benefits and is typically offered by an association which has an affiliate relationship with an insurance carrier.

Plans vary by their level of comprehensiveness. The more comprehensive the Medicare supplement plan… the higher the premium. When deciding on a supplement you'll need to assess both your health and budget.
