What Vision, Dental and Hearing Services Does Medicare Cover?

Medicare covers SOME dental, vision, and hearing services, given that they are medically necessary. However, in general, Medicare does not cover most dental, vision, & hearing care, such as routine care visits.

Medicare supplement insurance will cover the deductibles, coinsurance, copays, and possibly excess charges associated with Medicare-approved expenses. Your Medigap plan will not cover any DVH services not covered by Medicare.

For some, it may be financially prudent to enroll in a Dental, Vision, & Hearing insurance plan outside of Medicare and Medigap. Call us at (866) 894-3258 to see if a DVH plan makes sense for you.
