You've heard of PART D of Medicare, but what is Medigap (Medicare Supplement) PLAN D?

Do not confuse between these two. Medicare Part D is the name for the prescription drug coverage. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plan D is a plan that supplements Original Medicare (Parts A & B).
