TRUMP TO ANNOUNCE LOWER INSULIN PRICES: Pres. Trump is giving remarks about protecting seniors with diabetes, where he is expected to announce new changes to Medicare including a $35 maximum copay on a monthly supply of insulin. This move, working in tandem with over 1,750 insurance companies, could potentially save some Medicare beneficiaries hundreds of dollars a year. About one in three Medicare users have diabetes, and over three million patients use insulin, but this will not help the roughly 20 million Americans with diabetes who are under 65. Although it was discovered almost a century ago, insulin's cost has tripled in just the last decade.
