  1. Fox is right. Universal health care has been a total failure except in Australia, Austria, Belarus, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

And all those countries still pay less per patient than the US.

    • Of which they do not have the expenses even close to the USA, and they often rely upon what they made from their free-market side. If they paid into half of what we do, they wouldn’t be affording it.

We could come up with better programs if we did not constrain to such political ideologies for projects like this. We essentially already have healthcare for all, as our Medicare ends up covering nearly anyone that goes in to a hospital or that needs attention and cannot obtain insurance elsewhere. The only difference is now ppl want it expanded so that doctors and every other provider is forced to contribute to the service. Which is not the right way to resolve problems in a system we already basically have (but without the title and without an ability to get the location choice).

    • Are you asserting those countries to be successful examples of universal healthcare? I’m guessing you have not visited an emergency room in any of them.
I am curious where you got the list and what qualifies them as, ‘not a failure’.

This is just a thought. Do you know where the best doctor in Canada goes after he’s done with his residency and the government lets him leave? Take a guess. It is not on that list. If that happens to the top 20% of all the doctors what happens?

Just because someone has been sick does not make them an expert on healthcare. The spectators always have an opinion. It’s just not that simple.

    • +Tom Broer Well said. I think their goal is to just keep asking for free stuff because they feel entitled to it. This ‘progressive’ is another one that won’t go to med school and volunteer the rest of his life to provide healthcare at the cheapest price possible as a government employee. They will just complain and demand someone provide it because they want, want, want. They probably don’t have a job that could be attacked. No one is saying clean toilets are a right so the government should have this guy clean my toilet for free. That would be silly to just randomly claim you deserve things for free that you really don’t understand anyway. You just know you want someone else to pay for it. It’s always someone else’s money, time, or skill on the table.

Why not treat a doctor like a factory worker and ignore all the work they do before they can do that job? The good ones leave the country to get paid for their merit or they change professions when the government regulates what they do too much. That’s why many really good specialist won’t take Medicare or Medicaid. They only take private insurance.

  2. I hope that Crooked Media can help to clarify the whole picture on M4A. Please find a way to get Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein to renounce their old line that “medicare for all will never happen”. This kind of insane line was what undermined unity in the Democratic Party. Please find a way to get Americans to begin looking at Sustainable Development Goal for 2030 #3 which is supported by 193 countries as part of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 – adopted in September 2015. #SDG3 is about upgrading universal health care to achieve wellbeing. This is a WORLD project. It should not be ignored by the United States. It would enable things like fair trade in prescription drugs which would save hundreds of $ billions.

  3. Democrats need to take the “You Can Keep Your Doctor” line and throw it right in their faces. I cannot remember the last time I’ve seen my actual “doctor”. Yeah I have one, but all I ever see are nurses, and PA’s, I never see my “doctor” anymore. It’s been at least 2 years and I cannot imagine it’s just me.

  4. “Why do they lie?” Simple, but don’t take my word for it. Here’s an expert view. “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Adolf Hitler. But to really make it work. “All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.” Adolf Hitler

  5. I love Lovett or Leave it and O.K Stop but, the guests are never upto Lovett’s standard. Forgive me for saying it, but I sometimes think the only reason some guests get on there is that they have a diversity quota they have to fulfil.

    • So true. I’ve heard some racist things from the guests or just crazy comments that in no way deserve such a large platform.

  6. So just so Americans know most other countries that have Socialized Healthcare still have Private Insurance companies. In Canada your base level care is covered by the government. People can go to Private Insurance Companies and get additional things covered like Drug, dental, and eyes. They can also get other bonus things like Private rooms for extended hospital visits. So when Republicans tell you getting Medicare for all would eliminate all the insurance companies and plans they are LYING. They are exaggerating the situation so that it seems extreme.

  7. Lovett is really speaking to the working class voter drinking Miller Lite tallboys. That’s literally the opposite of Dijon mustard on a burger.

  8. These are the people that complain most about the government, yet they want the government to control their healthcare. Makes sense

  9. He’s saying Medicare for all takes your choice of doctor and health plan away from the individual and gives it to government officials. The same government officials who can’t balance a budget. Y’all are all ridiculous if you want the government to manage your healthcare. Notice how they skip over there is no private insurance which is insanely better than Medicare, Medicaid, etc. What’s wrong with wanting what we have? We pay for it you idiots…
