  1. Intellectual diversity on one side is a good thing for the other? That’s a spin I haven’t heard before. Let’s go to the extreme. What if the Democrats were nearly identical? Is that good for their party? Honest question

    • +karl john Nuclear weapons are different than conventional arms. Soldiers, ships, planes, subs, artillery, etc etc. I am making a point that you dont want the exact opposite of republicans on this issue

    • +Alejandro Reyes actually, yes,i do.
i want defense spending to be cut 45%
i want ALL military bases outside the US to be closed, ALL PERSONAL brought home. let them draft their own sons and daughters
i want ALL US TROOPS, pulled out of the M.E. ASAP! let ’em all kill each other in the name of their own GODS, but let’s MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS!
we did enough damage in that region of the world.

    • +karl john You can’t expect other powers to destroy all enemies that despise us. You can’t expect them to not tolerate or to not join up with them. That is naive or stupid. When you only defend after you are attacked you suffer far worse. Isolation is a horrible strategy.

    • +Frahamen when she agrees with the Democratic party 80-85% of the time as a Senator, she has the right to call herself a DEMOCRAT!

  2. I can’t wait to see whoever emerges as the final candidate to flip over from wingnut religious and extreme conservative economics to a more moderate position. They’ll have to do this to appeal to the center. It won’t work with me. I have a memory.

  3. Republicans wants the corporatists to rob you blind. Democrats want the illegal immigrants to rob you blind. There is no winning.

    • +Andrew Jackson Alien Slayer Illegal immigrants pick your vegetables so you can afford to buy it at a reasonable price. They are nannies and landscapers to the middle class home owners. Corporations just rob you blind and want to destroy unions so you will work for pennies an hour. It’s the corporate rich fucks robbing you blind, not illegal immigrants.

    • +Andrew Jackson Alien Slayer not sure how the majority of illegal immigrants that are coming from Europe are robbing us blind, but yeah we should close off immigration from European country’s we have enough white people as it is.

  4. The more important issue is how many people get scared when the idea of cutting these programs come up. It is disturbing that we are this dependent on the federal government.

    • +whyamimrpink78 nothing wrong with those programs that need to be increased not cut, we should cut military by half at least get rid of the cia nsa dea and homeland security and bring our troops home and closed down gitmo we have no reason to be over there fighting anymore.

    • +sally smolich Actually it is a pay as you go program. You are paying for the current people on SS and medicare, and the next generation is going to pay for yours.

  5. republicans are bat-crap crazy, democrat are entitled snd lazy, we obviusly werent ment to have a presidency.

  6. So blindly following a political party and its agenda is a “good thing”. History might tell you otherwise. Anyways I’m glad that the Republicans have more options than just a socialist and less-socialist candidate.
