'One Democrat last night was explicit. He admitted that after yesterday's vote Democrats won't be able to say that if you like what you have, you can keep it. And he went on to say that, quote, that basic commitment that a lot of us around here have made will be called into question'
I ask often as to how these elected officials can “live with themselves”.
The answer comes in THIS form: our elected officials have the BEST helath
care that our tax mony can buy. THEY will NEVER have to live with the kind
of health care that that the rest of us “get by” on. IF THEY had to exist
on Medicare and social security they most certainly would NOT make these
cuts. Fortunately SOME of our electerd officials KNOW and UNDERSTAND these
facts. Check the voting records of people who we elect.
Thank you, Senator McConnell! We should NOT cut benefits to our seniors to
fund this bill! No more cuts to seniors in any form! How can anyone who
supports this funding live with themselves!?!?
