  1. What’s your position on “Medicare for All”? Or at least how would you like to see our healthcare system changed?

    • Imagine the government is paying for your healthcare. Now imagine that rampant diabetes, cancer and other diseases that typically cost a fortune to remedy. Now, how many times in your lifetime can you remember the CAUSES of these diseases changing as science gains more information? Now, imagine what it will be like when the government follows those scientific ‘guesses’ with law after law restricting what you can eat, wear, drive, where you can go, what you can touch in an effort to prevent diseases to control costs. Not such a free country anymore is it?
Its already happened with public education. The GOVERNMENT decides what your kids need/should know and how they should be taught it. Educators have very little control over what is taught, it is all dictated to them by politicians.

    • You can argue that the U.S. has the best quality healthcare system in the world. But what does it matter if half(I don’t know the exact number) of the population can’t even get to that healthcare without it putting a huge dent in their wallet. It’s not fair to the majority of the population. Now I’m not saying that medicare for all is the solution. If there’s a single payer system that works just as well or even better, great! I’d route for that one, I’m more conservative myself. But my point is you can’t argue quality when no one can exploit it.

    • Medicare is only as good as what your “supplemental” covers (which you still pay for even after a certain age.) You don’t have the $$$ to pay for that, and you are currently screwed in this country. Add in millions of people to that that never “paid in” a dime? You have now entered into Medicaid country, from which there is no return. Millions will die, including the elderly and children.

    • Everyone keeps saying everyone should have access to healthcare. Last time I was at the ER I believe I saw a sign stating that they will not refuse medical care for any reason. So in essence everyone DOES have access to medical care… it’s just not free . I, like many, do not mind helping the poor, disabled and the elderly but I’m not for a one for all type system, Get govt totally out of private healthcare, open up the free market and everyone pays for their own.

    • +Brion Stronghold Yup. See the 2019 Medicare Trustees’ Report. On page 6, they say the HI (Part A) trust fund will be depleted by 2026.

  2. The same people saying “keep your laws out of my body” are demanding that the government take control of the entire healthcare industry.

  3. _“One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.”_
    ― *Milton Friedman*

    • God that quote should be plastered everywhere. Too many people these days what to do what seems nice, regardless if the outcome is horrible. And AOC saying “people are more worried about being factually correct than morally right”. In my mind you can’t be one without the other.

    • Yeah as active duty with Tricare I can say we have only used those benefits once for an emergency room visit. Our child’s birth we had to pay out of pocket because we chose to have a good midwife at home, and we pay for our sons pediatrician out of pocket because all the Tricare accepting doctors in our town are terrible, and we don’t go to the doctor period unless it’s an accident/injury

    • +RihannaIsIluminati I said plainly ” with access to” my friend clearly those without will and should use the VA

    • The money that Medicaid pays for procedures is about one third of what private insurance pays. That’s why providers limit the number of Medicaid patients they accept.

    • Mrs. Shapiro as a guest?
My only problem there is if she wants the exposure.
Have you seen her face? I haven’t.

    • Jonathan I looked up a picture a while ago but forgot what she looks like so yea her face is out there but not many people have seen it

    • +J man Poverty is lower because unemployment has gone down, which is generally a good thing but the problem is that there are still 9.5 million people working who fall under the poverty line, tax cuts won’t be able to fix that. Liquid asset poverty is at 40% which is a jump from last years 36.8%. Liquid asset poverty means that if you lose your income for whatever reason, you’re not going to be able to make ends meet, so you have to go on foodstamps. Nearly 80% of workers live paycheck to paycheck, while the top 1% have more wealth than the bottom 90% Student loan debt is also continuing to rise, and 13.7% of americans don’t have health insurance, which is a jump from the 10.9 percent in 2016.

Republican economics are only good for the top 1 percent and completely disastrous for everyone else.

    • +Justin setting You have canine teeth as well as flat teeth. This suggests by evolution that we’re omnivores. Big cats like Lions etc have sharper teeth (carnivore) and cows tend to have flatter teeth (herbivores). But, I tell you what, if you can get animals to quit killing and eating each other then I will totally give up all animal products.

    • +Pix-Elated gorillas and hippos have huge canines and they are herbivores. Fact remains the chemicals in meat damage our normal functioning and do you think dogs(omni) get heart disease? No point as that would be me hurting omni and carnivores as they require it. I am alive and thriving. Up to you if you want to face facts or continue senseless destruction.

    • +Justin setting This is a great argument. My baby sister, who used to be vegan and has her master’s in sustainable resources and geology, quit being vegan because it was bad for her and caused over farming of our land. So…yea… now she raises chickens for food. Lol.

    • +Morscerta12 yes interesting! If was living off the land might have had an iodine problems as no seaweed available or incomplete diet. It is best to have varied plant foods. Sad that she couldn’t optimize land through no tilling, composting, root zone h20 miniplation and veganic symbiotic crops seeing that she can gather knowledge(studied same sciences). Crops have risks, so too slaves, although I would love animals on a farm to support further ecosystem. She probably wanted to exploit and hurt for money like we were taught. sustainability is unclear in specific cases for using animals but their flesh is not ours. There is probably thousands of plants that thrive on natural soils yet want to make a product from slaves and buy feed from monocrop farms. Health and unnecessary murder case stands. What chicken nutrient solved her issue?

    • +Justin setting poligeenan and carrageenan are in chem lab grown soy products ie burgers, hot dogs and the like, better off just eating the real thing, or stick to fruits vegs and legumes but the water and soil they use to grow the foods are poisoned aswell no real such thing as eating healthy just the lesser of two evils

    • +Maroon Kennedy Unless you’re in BC where they try to criminalize paying out of pocket for better care lol

    • EngiNerd Israel, conservative second favorite country has universal healthcare now go ahead and tell me that Israel is a communist country

    • EngiNerd Reagan pushed the same old redscare bs against Medicare in the 60’s 20 years later after it has been implemented and the people loved it he had no choice but to support it, conservatives are always on the wrong side of history

    • +Maroon Kennedy I’m Canadian and my wife and mother died on waiting lists in Canada for procedures my cousins in the US had done immediately.

  4. Crowder, do another video on your solutions for the problem instead of just debunking the other side. That would be a great part 2.

  5. Crowder just a compliment to you, you are one of the few I do not have watch their videos at at least 1.25x speed

  6. They believe we’re living like the Elysium movie:
There’s magical, free healing beds just sitting there, ready to aid the poor.
Nop! Get down from your cloud!

    • The same thing here ! (France)
Leftist are dreamers that makes à nightmare of workers life !!
Take à look here with our “Yellow vests protester”… This week we have “hospitals emergency” on strike !!
Europe is the perfect example of the cancer of… Socialisme !!!

    • +Fire&Ice909 People wouldn’t have less money for themselves. If you move to a single payer system, the taxes you pay would be less than what you pay for health insurance right now. “Well funded” just means that you spend enough money that everyone gets covered. Raising taxes DOES NOT kill jobs, because people are going to have more money in their pockets, because they don’t have to pay for health insurance. There should be a progressive tax, so that the rich pay a little bit more, because they have a fuckton of money. A healthy economy is one where wealth is spreaded around, and not just horded by the rich. “The poor don’t die because they’re poor”, well maybe not you but 40 000 people die every year, because they can’t afford healthcare. Even if you work you can be under the poverty line in the us.
